Every Friday, from June to December, the Farmers Market comes to town. They set up in the Municipal Parking lot, selling just picked produce, homemade pickles, and artisanal coffee. Some of the vendors come live in the county, others come from as far away as Massachusetts.
In the farmers market, customers take their time. Shoppers wander around, just enjoying the fresh air, the sights and sounds. Vendors chat with buyers and patiently help them pick out what they want. Couples walk together, and parents bring their kids. Shopping there is not just a chore- it's an outing.
